Delete your MileStreak account
MileStreak is an app by Kevin Rudd. You can delete your account, and everything in it, with or without the app.
In the app
Open MileStreak → Settings (bottom right) → Account → Delete account. Check the list, tap Continue, then Delete account. If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm it's you. It happens straight away.
Without the app
Email kevin@nextmindadvisors.com from the email address on your MileStreak account, with the subject "Delete my account". You don't need to reinstall MileStreak.
Email a deletion requestI reply within 2 business days, and your account is deleted within 7 days of confirming the request came from the address on the account.
If you used Apple's Hide My Email, the in-app route is quickest. If you can't use the app, email me from any address, say so, and I'll work out with you how to confirm the account is yours.
What is deleted
- Your account, your name, your settings, your rules, your streaks and every run — typed in or imported.
- Your purchase records at RevenueCat, the service that runs subscriptions.
What is kept, and for how long
- Encrypted backups: your data rolls off them within 30 days, after which it is gone for good.
- Sign-in records (IP address and time): kept for a short period set by Supabase, then deleted automatically.
- If you ask by email: our email exchange, for 12 months, as the record that your request was carried out. Then it is deleted.
Not touched
Apple Health and Health Connect. Your runs stay on your phone, where they were to begin with. MileStreak only ever had a copy.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel billing, because the subscription belongs to Apple or Google. Cancel it in your phone's subscription settings first.
